Split Skirt - Agnes Rossi I liked the split style of the narrative, going back and forth between Mrs. Tyler and Rita. At one point, though, a short narrative from Luz intrudes and instead of adding to the novel, is a distraction.

It's one of those "two women from opposite sides of the tracks meet and discover *gasp* they're really not so different" novels, but despite the ending being predictable, it was an enjoyable read.
