Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers - Mary Roach This would have been a 5 star book, hands down, if it weren't for the last few chapters. The first part is engrossing - to find out what goes on in a dead body and the crazy things that humans have done with remains over time. Mary Roach covers the topics pretty well and with a great sense of humor. But with the chapter Eat Me, she lost me a bit. It wasn't bad, but it just wasn't as good as the others. Perhaps it was because the subject of the chapter was much more contemporary than the others, and less scientific - based more on urban legend-ish tales than fact?
